2011 CHOPARD’S SUNGLASSES COLLECTION



Extreme luxury, femininity, class and a fashionable touch: this is the Chopard’s new Sunglasses Collection 2011
, which once again confirms the inextricable link between eyewear design and the Maison’s exclusive couture jewellery. Refined and precious models featuring valuable details  and materials become the one-of –a-kind  accessori for the woman who likes standing out.  Metal permeates the entire collection which, in line with Chopard’s tradition, is rich in decoration and gold-plating: glasses become exclusive jewels. Acetate is also used for more modern, glamorous and trendy models,, embellished by Chopard’s identifying details.. For the men's line, Chopard keeps  the shapes and classic concept of the metal models, enriched by knurled details on the temple and front piece that draw inspiration from the extremely refined design of Chopard’s golden pens. A more sporty-chic allure is conveyed by aviator shapes featuring a tyre-tread motif both on the bridge and the entire temple, recalling the Maison’s watch straps. Louis-Ulysse Chopard in 1860 in a Swiss village, Sonvilier began the adventure that we all know the famous trademark CHOPARD.
It was just a young but very talented craftsman in the village and opened his shop.
Now his clocks had a great reputation throughout Eastern Europe, Russia and Scandinavia.
70 years after Paul Louis moved the factory in Geneva leading to the Maison international customers.
Paul Andre Chopard in 1963 was forced to continue operations, to enter into a partnership Karl Scheufele son art jewelers and watchmakers.
